The PADI ENRICHED AIR NITROX specialty is the most popular PADI specialty for years.

And that is not so strange. Because diving with 'enriched air' has many advantages over diving with normal air. Longer diving times are possible and by using a breathing gas with a higher oxygen percentage, diving is also much healthier and safer. Especially for diving between 18 and 25 meters depth and diving abroad we benefit at our holiday destination of diving with oxygen-enriched air.

Nowadays Nitrox is often offered free of charge or with a small extra price at many holiday destinations, provided the diver is of course in possession of a PADI EANx certification.
